PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN & CLIENTELE

Since its inception, Samvedana Film Foundation has been active in Fiction as well as non fiction media and films. Some of the projects successfully undertaken by us so far are :

Fiction :

“Ara Ara Aaba, Aata Tari Thamba!” (A Marathi Feature Film) : A socio – political comic satire on scenario of government policies like Family Planning, Gram Swachata, etc., featuring stalwarts like late Nilu Phule, Sadashiv Amarapurkar, Priya Berde, Nagesh Bhosale, etc. This film has not only run successfully all over Maharashtra, but has also won 8 awards in various categories. These awards include the “Zee Gaurav Puraskar”, “Ma.Ta. Sanmaan”, “Sanskrutik Kala Darpan Puraskaar”.

“Jananee” (A Marathi Short Fiction) : A film on the serious issue of sex selection. This film is the first Marathi Short Film to be screened at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in May 2010. The film has also won the award for Best Short Film at 40th International Film Festival of India, December 2009.

Non Fiction :

We specialise in making Client Specific Non Fiction Films. Our clientele ranges from Corporates,
NGOs and Educational Institutes, as well as small firms. Some of our projects in this respect are
as follows:

UNODC : An Anti – addiction promotional short film for United Nations Office for Drug and Crime (UNODC), Titled “Choose life !” featuring Mr. Aamir Khan.

Jain Irrigation Systems Limited : A series of Corporate Films for Corporate Training, Marketing as well as Corporate Social Responsibility.

Pratham Mumbai, A renowned NGO : A series of Marketing Films, Documentaries and Audio Visual Teaching Aids.

Snehayala : A wellknown NGO working in the area of prostitution and Child trafficking.Ahmednagar, A Profile feature .

NGO Yashasvini : A showreel of this NGO which works among self Help Groups of Women all over Maharashtra.

All India Institute of Local Self Government (A Central Government Body): A series of documentaries about various Poverty Alleviation Programmes designed and undertaken by the Institute .

Ajinkya BioFert: AV documentation of this firm working on Municipal Solid Waste Management in
Maharashtra and Karnataka.

International Institute for Population Sciences: Transformation of all the Classroom lectures into Teacher independent Audio Visual Teaching Aids (A set of 300 DVDs) for their Distance Learning Programme.

Kalpattaru Enterprises: A marketing film showcasing the trading practices of this firm in Ahmednagar, known for its dealerships with well known brands like Titan, Tata Gold Plus, and many more.

Chef Devwrat Jategaonkar: A DVD by this well-known Celebrity Chef, on basic skills of Fruit and Vegetable Carving.
